Default Really annoying Ctrl, Alt + S problem with my laptop in GW: Factions

I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and can help me out. We have a Dell Inspiron 9400 (e1705 in the U.S.) that has an issue with pressing 'Ctrl', 'Alt' and 'S' at the same time while in-game. The screen will go completely black for a few seconds, and then the game will change to a windowed screen with nothing showing (I can see the desktop background through the window), or sometimes the screen will go black and then revert to 800 x 600 resolution (which looks horrible when compared to 1920 x 1600!).

Has anyone else had this problem before on a laptop? It doesn't seem to happen on our desktop, so I'm thinking it's something to do with the laptop itself. It's driving us nuts! It's an easy combination to press, because we press Alt and Ctrl while running around to make out where the enemies and allies, etc. are. It doesn't happen with any other movement keys besides the 'S' key. Any ideas?

Okay, I feel dumb now, but I wanted to post what I found in case someone else ends up with this problem. It was Powerstrip that was the culprit! If you select 'Options' --> 'Hotkey Manager', there is a hotkey combo of Ctrl + Alt + S that reverts your video adapter to its basic settings. I didn't even think to check this until last night. I removed the hotkey combination from the list and it doesn't do that funky stuff any more.

All is well now. Thanks for trying to help anyway!
